RESULTS OF THE NATIONAL EXIT POLL 2010 FROM THE SECOND ROUND OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN UKRAINE
On February 7, 2010, the day of the Presidential Elections in Ukraine, the Consortium made up of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF), the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and the Razumkov Centre for Economic and Political Studies conducted the National Exit Poll 2010.
The Democratic Initiatives Foundation, which is responsible for the financial and media management of the exit poll, ordered the public opinion poll. The KIIS will execute project management, devise the sampling and coordinate the polling. The KIIS and the Razumkov Centre conducted the polling of voters upon exiting the polling stations.
The sampling is representative of all of Ukraine. 15,586 respondents were polled at 300 polling stations.
Thestatisticalsamplingerrordoesnotexceed1.1%,thoughtherearestatisticalerrors that depend on a number of factors (including weather conditions). Based on the experience of previous exit polls conducted by the same methodology, we assume that the sampling error does not exceed plus-minus 2.5%.
